Disneyland Paris' Space Mountain Mission 2 opens to public April 9
Reopening as Space Mountain: Mission 2, the Disneyland Paris "E-ticket" attraction opens to the public on Saturday, April 9. Earlier this week, the park held a private opening ceremony for the roller coaster with celebrities including American actor Vin Diesel (who just starred in Walt Disney Pictures' film The Pacifier) as well as popular electronica artist DJ Tiesto, who performed at the opening event.

Euro Disney unveiled a major revamp of its Space Mountain ride Wednesday, promising to take visitors to "the edge of the universe" just months after flat revenue and heavy debt took the company to the edge of bankruptcy.

Visa International and Hong Kong Disneyland have announced the launch of an alliance that will make Visa the Official Card of Hong Kong Disneyland - the very first Disney theme park in China, scheduled to open to the general public on September 12 of this year.

Walt Disney World's 'it's a small world' attraction gets makeover for Disneyland's 50th birthday
The classic Disney attraction, "it's a small world." inspired by a similar Disneyland theme park attraction, was brought to Florida for the Grand Opening of Walt Disney World Resort in 1971. Thirtysomething years later, it's received a makeover that includes décor from its California cousin at Disneyland. In honor of the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" 18-month celebration of Disneyland's 50th birthday, the attraction received the most extensive renovation and refreshment in its history, courtesy of Walt Disney Imagineering, the original creator of this classic attraction.
