Disney and Pixar's "The Incredibles" Characters Now on Disney Mobile Phones

Animated Characters Come to Life in Superhero-Sized Content Suite from Disney Mobile

North Hollywood, Calif. - October 19, 2004 - Disney Mobile today announced an incredible offering with its broadest, richest lineup of motion picture-based content to date. As the highly anticipated Walt Disney Pictures presentation of A Pixar Animation Studios film "The Incredibles" nears its November release, fans in the U.S. and abroad can take their enthusiasm to the small screen through an array of wireless fare inspired by the film.

The content, based on leading characters from the film, is currently rolling out with major carriers worldwide. It includes:

  • Several "The Incredibles" games, each designed to optimize game play for different handset capabilities.
  • "The Incredibles Adventure" action game is designed specially for more robust handsets. Players maneuver Bob and Helen Parr, otherwise known as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, through four action and puzzle filled levels to defeat the villain Syndrome. Players can seamlessly switch characters throughout the game, tapping each character's unique powers to defeat enemies, solve puzzles and avoid traps.
  • "The Incredibles" arcade-style game follows Violet, the shy daughter of Bob and Helen Parr, as she battles flying robots to score points and earn extra lives.
  • And, "The Incredibles 3D" game is currently in development for later release.
  • Voice and polyphonic ringtones inspired by the film. Voice ringtones bring voices from "The Incredibles" characters to mobile phones as ringers for incoming calls or voicemail alerts. For example, Mr. Incredible's tones announce, "Phones Ringing. Yoohoo. Are you gonna answer it?" and "Hello? Yeah I'm Mr. Incredible".
  • "The Incredibles" Fan Magazine (U.S. only)- A one-stop-shop for all things "incredible", the Fan Magazine is a downloadable application that allows users to view film and character information as well as purchase wallpapers, screensavers, character voicetones, and more.
  • Graphics include character and scene wallpapers and animated screensavers.
  • Other products available in international markets and planned for later release in the U.S. include: 3D wallpapers, animated photo frames, calendar graphics, 40-voice polyphonic ringtones and promotional video trailers.
