Walt Disney World Passholders get 1st look at Stitch show

Stitch's Great Escape features creature from 'Lilo & Stitch'

Disney Passholders can get a sneak peek at the Magic Kingdom's new attraction starring the loveable alien from the Walt Disney Pictures animated film Lilo & Stitch.

Disney has scheduled a passholder preview of Stitch's Great Escape during regular park hours Nov. 5-7. Stitch's official opening is Nov. 16.

The attraction is a reworking of the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, with the cuddly Stitch replacing the original attraction's fearsome monster.

The storyline: Stitch, officially known as Experiment 626, can't help but cause trouble. He's captured by the Galactic Federation, which recruits park guests to work as extra security.

Can a bunch of tourists hold a creature as mischievous and clever as Stitch?

Well, the name on the side of the show building doesn't say "Stitch's Great Incarceration."

Disney is warning parents that the show includes periods of darkness and loud noises and may not be suitable for very young children.
