Walt Disney World Hurricane Jeanne update

Hurricane Jeanne projected path shows the storm hitting Florida on Sunday

The Disneyland Report

Hurricane Jeanne may hit Florida this weekend, according to the Hurricane Jeanne projected path map provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The hurricane could hit the Florida peninsula, and the NOAA has warned in an advisory, "Interests on the Florida peninsula should closely monitor the progress of Jeanne."

According to the NOAA, Hurricane Jeanne is moving westward and is currently projected to hit Florida's east coast at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The hurricane's projected path has it edging north along the coast.

The Walt Disney World Resort may feel some of the effects of the hurricane, including heavy rain and high winds. Walt Disney World is currently not in the path of Hurricane Jeanne.
