Haviland, who spent eight years with The Walt Disney Company, joins the London office of CNN in October with a brief to develop marketing solutions that support the brand's editorial and commercial business. In particular, he will develop ongoing plans for a US Presidential election coverage marketing campaign and expand CNN's portfolio of business partnerships, which to date include the London Business School and World MBA Tour.
