Disney's 'Meet the Robinsons' is fifth at weekend box office

"Meet the Robinsons" from Walt Disney Pictures earned $7.1 million in its fourth weekend, putting it at fifth place at the box office. The computer-animated film about an orphan who goes into the future to learn about his past has to date earned more than $72 million at the box office. The comedy continues strong in its fourth weekend.
"Disturbia," a high-tech update of Alfred Hitchcock's famed thriller "Rear Window," was first for a second weekend, grossing $13.5 million. It was followed by another thriller, "Fracture," starring Anthony Hopkins. That took second place with $11.2 million.
The popular Will Ferrell comedy "Blades of Glory" about two male ice skaters came in at third with $7.8 million, and fourth at the box office was "Vacancy," a horror film, with $7.6 million.
"Meet the Robinsons" is Walt Disney Pictures' second fully computer-animated feature. It is being shown on Disney Digital 3D in many locations around the country.
