Disney starts Magical Beginnings packages for Walt Disney World and Disneyland vacations with toddlers

The Walt Disney Company has announced a new program called Disney's Magical Beginnings for families with very young children visiting the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Designed for families with preschoolers and toddlers, Disney's Magical Beginnings offers special packages, entertainment, amenities, and other details to help facilitate a Disney vacation for families with very young children.

Magical Beginnings at Walt Disney World creates a new travel season just for youngsters. From August 13 to September 30, families can visit the Walt Disney World Resort with a package that includes a five-day, four-night stay at a resort hotel, theme park tickets, and a free Disney Dining plan, which includes two meals and one snack per day.

The Walt Disney World Resort will also feature concerts during this Magical Beginnings special travel season by The Wiggles, Johnny and the Sprites, featuring Johnny Tartaglia and Dan Zanes, and a new “Mickey’s Magic Show.”

Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom will also open an hour early to accommodate young children on their favorite attractions, including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, “it’s a small world,” and Peter Pan’s Flight.

At the Disneyland Resort, the Magical Beginnings packages will be available August 13 to November 21 and include accommodations, tickets, early entry to Fantasyland for toddler-friendly attractions such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Peter Pan’s Flight.

As part of Magical Beginnings program, Disneyland will also introduce a new interactive character meet and greet called Mickey’s Toontown Morning Madness, which takes place in Toontown an hour before Disneyland opens in the morning.
