Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2005 celebrated at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World

Tickets on sale for event featuring Halloween fun and new Happy HalloWishes fireworks show

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Already one of the most magical places on Earth, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort gets a little more magical each year during a popular after-hours events featuring special entertainment and surprises for all ages -- Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

On 15 evenings in 2005 -- five more dates than last year -- the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida will come alive with dazzling decorations, spectacular fireworks displays, Disney characters, live shows and treats for the whole family. The fun begins at 7 p.m. (after regular park operating hours) and continues until midnight. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

By popular demand, this family-friendly celebration of gentle chills and thrills will expand in 2005 to 15 nights of spooky fun -- the most ever -- Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31. Separate admission to the event is required.

Each date will feature opportunities for trick-or-treating throughout the theme park, and all guests are welcome to wear Halloween costumes. Plus, the Disney characters will be dressed in their favorite costumes, too!

The evening also will include "Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade," Mickey's Mouse-Ka-Rade costume parties, Halloween storytelling, live shows and unique merchandise in the most magical place on Earth.

New this year is a spectacular Halloween-themed fireworks display -- "Happy HalloWishes" -- featuring spooky music from family-friendly Disney attractions and movies including Haunted Mansion and "The Nightmare Before Christmas," as well as the voices of memorable Disney characters such as Madame Leota, Ursula, Jafar, Maleficent and Oogie Boogie.

Plus, families can enjoy unlimited use of popular attractions such as "Mickey's PhilharMagic," Stitch's Great Escape! Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, and many more.

Advance tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are $34.95 plus tax for guests ages 10 and above, $27.95 plus tax for guests ages 3-9. (Children under 3 are admitted at no charge.) The advance ticket prices are good for all dates except Oct. 31. Tickets on the day of each party are $39.95 plus tax for guests ages 10 and above, $32.95 plus tax for guests ages 3-9.
