Disney, Pixar The Incredibles video game reaches sales milestone for GameCube, PlayStation2

Reaching a significant retail milestone, THQ Inc. today announced that The Incredibles videogame, based on the Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Pictures presentation of a Pixar Animation Studios film, The Incredibles, has been added to the Nintendo GameCube"Players Choice" and PlayStation2 computer entertainment system "Greatest Hits" collections throughout North America. The Incredibles, developed by THQ's Heavy Iron Studios appeals to gamers of all ages and is now available for PlayStation 2 and GameCube at $19.99 MSRP.

"THQ continues to enjoy enormous success with The Incredibles videogame, which launched in conjunction with the film's theatrical release last November," said Tiffany Ternan, Senior Vice President, North American Sales, THQ. "To date, THQ has already shipped 4.5 million units worldwide and we look forward to continued momentum at this attractive new price point."

About The Incredibles Videogame

The Incredibles videogame features challenging superhero action and adventure combined with the unique graphical style and humor of the critically acclaimed Pixar film presented by Disney. The game allows players to relive the movie experience by assuming the role of each of the film's key characters in visually stunning environments ranging from lush jungle islands to grand skyscraper-filled cities. The game spans more than 18 levels including bonuses and extra hidden features.

The Incredibles is also available for the Xbox videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendo Game Boy Advance, and PC/Mac, as well as The Incredibles: When Danger Calls, an additional PC/Mac title featuring an assortment of minigames.

This November, THQ expects to release an all-new videogame titled The Incredibles: The Rise of the Underminer.
