The Disneyland Report > Disney News > Racore Technology ships network cards to Walt Disney World Resort Disney NewsRacore Technology ships network cards to Walt Disney World ResortRacore Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of CirTran Corporation ( CIRT ), announced today that it has shipped products to world-famous Disney World, adding to its growing customer list. "Racore and CirTran, its parent company, have the honor to serve a varied and distinguished customer base, including the Fire Department of New York, the U.S. Air Force, and government agencies," said Trevor M. Saliba, executive vice president for worldwide business development of both companies. "But truth be told," he said, "few customers offer the excitement and glamour of Disney World." Working through Software House International of Somerset, N.J., a Racore reseller, an order for more than $21,000 worth of M8190 network interface cards was shipped from Racore's manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City directly to Disney World in Florida. "The Orlando area draws more than 40 million visitors from around the world, with most of them coming to Disney World. We know that they, as well as the technicians who make Disney World work so brilliantly, will be able to rely on our products," he said. "We're not saying that Mickey, Donald or any of the other famous Disney characters will be using Racore's technology to call home ... or even Hollywood," mused Mr. Saliba. "But then again, it's Disney World, where just about anything is possible." Racore was the first company to announce a full family of fiber optic network interface cards based on the VF-45 Fiber Optic connection standard, which allowed the company to produce premium fiber optic solutions at an affordable price. Racore's M8190 network interface cards support a wide variety of operating systems and protocols including Windows(R) XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows 95, 98 and 2000, Windows NT and Windows for Workgroups, Network, PC DOS and MS DOS, NDIS, and IBM(R).
