The Disneyland Report > Disney News > Disneyland Resort Paris launches new website to promote new Space Mountain Mission 2 Disney NewsDisneyland Resort Paris launches new website to promote new Space Mountain Mission 2New version of EuroDisney roller coaster has official opening day at on April 9Accompanying the launch of the Space Mountain: Mission 2 attraction is a new website to promote the new attraction: www.SpaceMountain2.com. Published in six different languages, it prepares visitors for the newly refurbished Disneyland Paris Park Space Mountain roller coaster. The entertainingly interactive website offers a host of video content featuring actors in unique roles. Once logged onto the site, a secret training camp is accessible and those wishing to become exploronauts can lay their hands on downloads, games and the chance to win prizes. SpaceMountain2.com was visually inspired by the Disneyland Park attraction it presents. This enthralling experience offers a first-person point of view, with the internaut's hands shown on the bottom of the screen, similar to certain video games. Access is granted to the secret Mission base and the chance to venture through various virtual encounters in the briefing room, the training room and elsewhere. Primarily designed with teenagers in mind, the site offers extensive interactive opportunities and these include a flight simulator and a stress test to separate the internauts from the exploronauts. The site's many bonuses comprise wallpaper, screensavers and prize giveaways including a magical stay at Disneyland Resort Paris. New adventure at Euro Disney Space Mountain: Mission 2 will blast off from Disneyland Resort Paris on 9 April. A major concert with popular electronica artist DJ Tiesto will anchor the attraction opening in its early days. The flagship attraction of Europe's number one tourist destination is unleashing yet another exciting instalment in its stellar saga. The Discoveryland attraction is being entirely reprogrammed to offer a new experience and the chance to blast beyond the boundaries of the universe. Its Columbiad canon, dreamed up by Jules Verne, has been recalibrated to catapult shuttles from its very base with a breathtaking surge of energy. This increased propulsion is key to achieving our Mission's objective in taking thrill- seekers to places where science has yet to penetrate. Space Mountain: Mission 2 guests come into close contact with comets, approach asteroids and rock to spatial phenomenon which result in loops, corkscrews and a horseshoe turn - and all of this accompanied by a supernova soundtrack!
