Director George Lucas says Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith will be emotional

The third installment of the new Star Wars trilogy of prequels will be an emotional film, according to director George Lucas.

Star Wars III: Return of the Sith will be the sixth and final film of the Star Wars franchise.

The film will be darker than the ones that preceded it and will depict the final steps of Anakin Skywalker, played by Hayden Christensen, becoming the villain Darth Vader.

Lucas has said that the subject matter in the film may be emotional, akin to a space drama version of "Titanic."

Many are speculating that Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith will receive a PG-13 rating, a more restrictive rating than the PG rating the other five Star Wars films have received.

The Star Wars III: Return of the Sith trailer recently premiered during an episode of television drama "The OC" on the Fox Channel.

The highly anticipated Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith opens May 19.

The Star Tours attractions at Disneyland and Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World are based on the films of the original Star Wars trilogy. Disney Imagineers worked with George Lucas to create the attractions.
