Singer Rod Stewart proposes to model Penny Lancaster
Rod Stewart, 60, proposed to his girlfriend of over five years Penny
Lancaster, 33, in Paris over the weekend,
Stewart, singer of such rock hits as "Forever Young" and
"Have I Told You Lately That I Love You," proposed to Lancaster
at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Stewart is still legally married to
model Rachel Hunter, although the pair split in 1998. Stewart plans
to finalize his divorce from Hunter.
Stewart was also previously married to actress Alana Stewart.
An agent says the singer would like to have the wedding ceremonies
in Scotland. The couple will wed sometime later this year.
