Hong Kong Disneyland hotels have thousands of reservations already
Hong Kong Disneyland has already received over 10,000 reservations
for rooms in its two hotels once the new resort opens later this year,
according to officials.
According to Disney officials, most of the reservations so far have
been made by Hong Kong residents, but the park will also do strong marketing
on the mainland of China.
Hong Kong Disneyland will be the newest Disney theme park and newest
Disney Resort when it opens later this year.
The Hong Kong Disneyland resort features a two Disney hotels, the Hong
Kong Disneyland Hotel - based on Victorian architecture akin to Disney's
Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World - and Disney's Hollywood
Hotel, which features an art deco flair.
The new HK Disney park has a scheduled grand opening date of September
12 this year as part of the "Happiest Celebration on Earth,"
Disneyland's 50th anniversary.
