Walt Disney Pictures premieres 'Ice Princess' starring Michelle Trachtenberg
The latest feature film from Walt Disney Pictures will premiere
this weekend at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. "Ice Princess"
starring actress Michelle Trachtenberg follows the transformation
of a bookworm in high school into an ice-skating champion.
Trachtenberg plays Casey Carlyle, a brainy student who has dreamed
of becoming a championship figure skater. However, her mother (played
by Joan Cusack) has her on the fast track to Harvard. Despite such a
challenge, Casey trains and must go on to compete against the best to
become a true "ice princess." The film also stars Kim Cattrall.
The premiere will be held at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood
and the stars of the film are expected to attend. Among the expected
guests are Joan Cusack, Michelle Trachtenberg, Brian Boitano, Kristi
Yamaguchi, and Teri Hatcher.
Walt Disney Pictures' Ice Princess opens in theatres nationwide on
March 18, 2005
