'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' to feature Disney characters for preschoolers on 'Playhouse Disney'

The Disney Channel will soon once again feature popular cartoon character and Disney icon Mickey Mouse and his friends in its daily lineup in a new show called "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."

"Playhouse Disney," the Disney Channel's morning programming for preschoolers which features several shows such as "Bear in the Big Blue House," "Rolie Polie Olie," and "Stanley," will soon include "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."

The new Mickey Mouse cartoon will debut at the beginning of 2006 and will be educational in nature, according to a press release. Disney favorites Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto will be on hand to accompany Mickey Mouse.

Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World and Disney's California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort feature attractions based on the shows of "Playhouse Disney."
