BURBANK, Calif., February 16, 2005 A presentation and general
discussion with Andy Bird, President, Walt Disney International, The
Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS), will be hosted by Smith Barney Citigroup
at its Leisure Day Conference on Thursday, February 17, 2005, at 11:05
a.m. EST/8:05 a.m. PST.

Andy Bird assumed his position as president, Walt Disney International,
in January 2004. Working in conjunction with business unit leaders around
the world, Bird is responsible for coordinating and overseeing growth
opportunities for Disney outside the United States, and for targeting
new businesses, growing and increasing penetration of existing businesses,
and leading the development of business and operations in emerging markets.
